With Tegel Airport soon-to-be closed, a new era begins as “The Urban Tech Republic”. On the 490 hectare-large space, a research and industrial park for urban technology, research, development, and production of environmentally responsible top-technologies for sustainable urban development is in the pipeline. Companies, start-ups and scientific institutes are encouraged to use the spot to develop and produce urban technologies for the future.

CLEANTECH BUSINESS PARK (CBP)

In Berlin’s Northeast there’s a new player coming to town: CleanTech Business Park, covering a 90-hectare space, is Berlin’s largest industrial site and is purposed and equipped for manufacturing companies from the CleanTech sectors. The location offers state-of-the-art material facilities in accordance with the Federal Control of Pollution Act so that nearly every industrial production process is possible on the site.
