MOST WANTED: MUSIC 2019
The bullshit-free, get-it-done, connectivity conference for creatives and music business professionals
Around 1,500 trade visitors from the creative industries, including artists, decision-makers, creative professionals, founders and pioneers, will meet in Berlin on November 6 and 7 to exchange views on the future of music and new technologies at MOST WANTED: MUSIC. Once again, the participants await around 80 keynotes, interviews and panel discussions as well as practice-oriented workshops and matchmaking events with 150 international and national speakers and an extensive performance program. In 2019, MW:M takes place for the sixth time - for the second year in a row in Berlin's creative hotspot Alte Münze Berlin.
Berlin’s rebel spirit shapes everything at MOST WANTED: MUSIC – experimental, thoughtful, kinder, and more inclusive, with a need to shake the status quo. MW:M 2019 is all about the big quest for meaning: While the music industry has recovered, and continues to look for new portable business models, many creative people are still looking for ways to participate in the new upswing. And Generation Y is looking for meaningful fields of work - the good jobs of tomorrow.
Worldwide leading visionaries and decision-makers come to Berlin for unusual ideas, inspiration and networking. Among them: Scott Cohen, Chief Innovation Officer Recorded Music at Warner Music Group, Burkhard Leimbrock, European Commercial Director at Twitch, the world's leading live streaming platform for gamers, communications coach and author Holley M. Kholi-Murchison and many more. Together with the international music and tech scene, they discuss questions like: What is the value of music in 2019? And what kind of music fits into our fast-paced world? Who has the decisive technology idea in the race for new musical listening experiences? MW:M19 focuses on the value of music, new (live-)music experiences, new music markets and the social impact of music.
MOST WANTED: MUSIC is an event by Berlin Music Commission - the network of the Berlin music industry - and is organized on behalf of the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Businesses within the framework of the Berlin state initiative "Projekt Zukunft" and funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
