InnoTrans is the leading international trade fair for transport technology and takes places every two years in Berlin. Sub-divided into the five trade fair segments Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction, InnoTrans occupies all 41 halls available at Berlin Exhibition Grounds. The InnoTrans Convention, the event’s top-level supporting programme, complements the trade fair.

InnoTrans Business Days Berlin 2018

As host of InnoTrans Business Days 2018, the Enterprise Europe Network Berlin-Brandenburg invites you to take a closer look at the railway technology industry in the Berlin-Brandenburg Capital Region. Meet and match with potential cooperation partners from Berlin and Brandenburg in our “Business Meetings".

InnoTrans Business Days 2018 take place during InnoTrans 2018 and feature an international matchmaking event (business meetings) as well as several side events.  They are free of charge and open to all exhibitors and visitors of InnoTrans 2018, but registration is needed.

Meetings will take place in Hall B / CityCube next to booth 103 – at our dedicated Enterprise Europe Network area.

3rd InnoTrans Luncheon for Women in Mobility

19 September 2018, 12:00-15:00, CityCube Berlin Hall B / Booth 100

Leading associations and networks have joint forces with industry partners to host the 3rd networking lunch and connect leading ladies in the transport sector. Their goal: Make role models more visible, foster mentoring and ultimately increase the percentage of women in transport from current 22 % to 40 % by 2020.

The DB booths as well as the joint booth of the German Capital Region Berlin-Brandenburg (both located in the CityCube, hall B) will host this event with keynote from Prof. Dr Sabina Jeschke. Member of the Management Board for Digitalization and Technology, Deutsche Bahn AG (tbc). Attendees also have the chance to attend a guided innovation tour.

ERCI Innovation Awards

The 2018 ERCI Innovation Awards are intended to promote innovations implemented by enterprises to meet the needs of the railway sector in Europe (freight and passengers). The Awards are organised by ERCI (European Railway Clusters Initiative), the European network of Innovative Railway Clusters. ERCI includes 11 major research and innovation driven railway clusters and represent about 1.000 SMEs in 9 countries. Primary objective is to reinforce the competitiveness of the European rail industry thanks to innovative products and to bring our members new business opportunities.
