Future Battery Forum 2022
Meet us at the Berlin conference for battery technology.
03-04 November 2022
Staged under the motto "Next level: Establishing the battery society", the management conference brings together the entire value system of battery technologies - in Berlin and online. Around 2,500 users, battery system & cell manufacturers, and their suppliers will have the opportunity to engage with fellow community members to share challenges, ideas, and solutions. They can exchange on tangible innovation, build their network, and discuss how to achieve industrial ramp-up for a high market share of battery-driven solutions.
The conference tackles 5 strategic topics to pave the way to a battery powered industry and society. On both conference days, the speaker contributions will shed the light on these topics.

Berlin leads the way in energy storage systems and battery-related business.
Berlin has a grown ecosystem of companies directly involved in various parts of the battery production value chain. There are a number of companies dealing in stationary and mobile storage systems, electrode production, machinery for cell production, cell assembly, battery management systems (BMS), testing and validation, power electronics (i.e. the application of solid-state electronics to the control and conversion of electric power), and also recycling batteries.
Berlin has the highest density of research institutes in Europe, and many of these have a particularly high degree of competence in the fields of battery power and production systems. To name but a few well-known centers of scientific excellence, the Technical University Berlin (TU), the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology, and the Federal Institute of Materials Research and Testing (BAM) are available as cooperation partners for innovative projects. All told, 30,000 scientists in more than 30 research and development organisations are carrying out cutting edge research and development in battery-related disciplines in Berlin.
