27th Intelligent Transport Systems World Congress
The ITS Congress is the biggest event focused on smart mobility and the digitalisation of transport. Every year, ERTICO organises an ITS regional or World Congress in Europe. The Congresses are the yearly celebration of smart mobility: they underline the importance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), particularly in cities and regions where they are hosted, and are important channels to raise awareness of smart mobility solutions among policy makers, experts and the general public. They include live sessions where industry experts present the latest developments in ITS, a showcase of cutting-edge technology and an exhibition space.

This applies to the modern infrastructure as well as to the economy with its strengths in the transport, mobility and logistics segments. A wide range of companies works in close cooperation with first-class research institutes on new technologies, concepts and system solutions for environmentally friendly, efficient and safe passenger and commercial traffic.

As part of the congress, a specialist excursion to the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region will take place on October 15. Participants will have the opportunity to gain a good insight into regional competencies in the field of ITS. Current projects will be presented and discussed at the individual stops.
