Smart Country Convention 2022
Showcasing Berlin’s Smart City Projects
From 18 to 20 October 2022, Smart City Berlin will once again take part in the Smart Country Convention, with numerous stakeholders and projects. This year, SCCON will take place as an in-person event – at hub27 on the exhibition grounds of Messe Berlin. SCCON assembles the most relevant experts on issues related to digitisation in the public sector and on smart city matters in the capital.
Since 2018, Smart City Berlin has been a constant partner of the Smart Country Convention – Germany’s leading trade fair for e-government, smart cities and smart regions. In cooperation with numerous actors, Berlin’s smart city ecosystem will take part in the 5th edition of SCCON with a stand showcasing Berlin’s smart city projects.
Berlin’s eco-system is especially characterised by the diversity of its topics, institutions and organisations: these include CityLAB Berlin with its society-centred approach; the Smart Cities division at Berlin Partner for Business and Technology; the Smart City Berlin network with its more than 150 corporations, scientific and research organisations, associations and chambers; as well as the state of Berlin. As a Smart City model project, Berlin will also be providing insight into the process behind the new Going Digital Together Berlin (“Gemeinsam.Digital.Berlin”) strategy and related implementation projects as well as into the current stage of development at SCCON 2022.
The programme at the Berlin stand addresses experts and other interested parties who want to find out more about Berlin’s solutions and use cases, engage in discussions and network with others. In addition, Berlin institutions and partners of Smart City Berlin will take part in a captivating pitch programme, which will be held on all three days of the trade fair. We will publish a first overview on this site at the end of August.
