Start-up Energy Transition Tech Festival 2022

Berlin, September 20

The sixth iteration of the SET Tech Festival will take place on the 20 September at Heeresbäckerei in Berlin! Join us and learn more about the latest energy technology trends, industry insights, the most promising start-ups, but first and foremost discover the stories of the energy transition. In the course of the Award Ceremony, we will announce the winners of this year’s SET Award, the most promising start-ups in each of the five categories:

• Clean energy generation
• Demand-side innovation
• Energy distribution & storage
• Smart mobility & transportation
• Quality energy access & SDG-7

#SETTF22 looks to strenghten the impact of innovative start-ups working toward energy transition, providing them with viable opportunities for garnering much deserved visibility and focuses on forging lasting partnerships between impactful corporate, political stakeholders and budding entrepreneurs.

Of the 15 finalists worldwide, three are from Germany, all of them Berliners: 

• Envio Systems GmbH – a building management system that can turn any commercial asset into a smart building
• LiveEO GmbH – infrastructure monitoring through satellite observation for ecological and asset risk assessment, see our interview with founder Sven Przywara  
• ONOMOTION GmbH – emission-free eCargobike for urban logistics
