A SIM card that gives you global cellular access is just one of EMnify’s products. Actually, the Berlin startup is the leading cloud-based platform for cellular connectivity in the mobile Internet of Things (IoT). EMnify addresses startups and enterprises with cloud-based integrations and no-code workflows to deploy secure, reliable, and borderless connectivity for devices such as electric vehicles, energy meters, alarm systems, GPS trackers, thermometers, or health wearables. To date, EMnify has raised €70 million in equity capital. As TechEU reports, founders Martin Giess, Frank Stoecker and Alexander Schebler will use this week’s fresh boost of €50 million from One Peak to consolidate growth in the German-speaking region and expand globally, especially to North America.
