Great, looks like you have got it all! For most people however, finding a like-minded community and building a professional network is not always easy – especially if one is new to a city!

In Berlin, you can build worthwhile business relationships, even if you’re not a born networker. For starters, we have put together these 7 networking-tips. And if you’re wondering where you can encounter that legendary Berlin tech scene everyone is talking about, reason why berlin is also here to help.

Luckily, the German capital has attracted a variety of event formats to connect their local nerds, business people, entrepreneurs and really anyone looking to expand their horizon and meet other creative minds. New tech conferences, hip festivals, expert meetups and casual networking events are popping up every year. You just have to make some room in your calendar, show up and make the most of it.

Spring

Rise of AI

Two days, 800 attendees, 100 AI companies and 60 speakers – for five years  the Rise of AI conference has been a part of Berlin and discusses the impact of Artificial Intelligence on society, politics and economy.

Summer

Blockchainweek Berlin

Blockchain Week Berlin is a decentralized community-organized initiative based on the premise that self-organization is the backbone of the ecosystem. They invite projects, individuals and anyone interested in fruitful and educational discussions about blockchain to join their event twice a year.

TOA

The Tech Open Air (TOA) is a three-day-festival created by folks of the Berlin startup scene. The approach is to work collaboratively and bring people together from all kinds of disciplines. The mission is to help people to future-proof their businesses.

Droidcon

Taking place since 2009, Droidcon is the industry’s leading platform for Android development, attracting over 1200 developers. Over 100 technical Android talks, workshops and codelabs are taking place at this annual event.

Graph QL Conf

Learn about GraphQL best practices from speakers all around the world and become part of the GraphQL community.

NOAH Conference

The Axel Springer Noah Conference is a digital conference for the premier league of top management teams, investors of corporates and fonds, selected journalists and influencers. According to this the ticket prices are high but are seen as an entrance to the best ecosystem to do business.

HEUREKA - The startup & tech conference

The early stage startup conference by Gruenderszene wants to connect stakeholders of the digital economy. Industry experts share their knowledge und give relevant insights and you get the opportunity to pitch your startup idea to selected Venture Capitalists. 

Also you might be interested in the Gruenderszene event Spätschicht, which is an exclusive event for invited guests so you get a chance to connect with selected founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and service providers. Every edition takes place at another location in Berlin and other German cities.

Autumn

Berlin Urban Tech Summit

The conference is initiated by Ramona Pop, the Senator for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, together with Investitionsbank Berlin ad focuses on sustainable ideas concerning logistics, manufacturing and location potentials in urban areas. All participants have the opportunity to interact directly with the speakers.

Codemotion

The conference for software developers offers a variety of topics such as Blockchain, Big Data, Game Development, Cyber Security or UX. Also big tech companies like Google or IBM come to showcases their products and services.

IFA

Explore emerging trends and check out premieres of new technology products at the leading trade fair for Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances. At the same time the IFA Global Market will take place and is the B2B sourcing platform for all manufacturers, distributors and retailers

React Day
